Palette Swap: Most pets have both a 'normal' version and a 'rare' version, which is a different color, has better stats, and appears less frequently. It's a bit disturbing, because the implication is, she's a bit of a Sadist Teacher to JJ. My Beloved Smother: Evie and Bea would like it if their mother got off their backs. Neither's age is explicitly stated, but Silas has graying hair and definitely seems to be more jaded. May-December Romance: Heather and Silas. #Wandering willows sequel Pc There's Art's ' fuzzie party' (and his later crossdressing excapades), the PC reminding JJ that his 'superior genetics' will mean nothing if he doesn't procreate, 'The underwear is out the outside!', et cetra, et cetra. Genki Girl: Heather's genkitude is remarkable. Everything's Better with Penguins: The Tooey pet (and its rare variant, Cooey). Nico comes off as fairly normal too, if not an insufferable egghead. Dysfunction Junction: Debbie is probably the only person on the island who isn't majorly bizarre in some fashion. Does This Remind You of Anything?: Art's furr-er, 'fuzzie' party. The Ditz: Bea, in contrast to her sister Evie. Given how screwed up the rest of Wandering Willows is, it's probably deserved. Combinatorial Explosion: Averted, in a small way-you can't combine items unless you learn the recipe or pattern for an item first. Clingy Jealous Girl: Heather for Silas. Broken Bridge: Landslides have closed off part of the world. Brilliant but Lazy: JJ's pretty smart, if not really, really dumb.ItMakesSenseInContext. Brain Bleach: In response to Art wearing a ballroom gown: 'There are some things you just can't unsee.'. Tropes used in Wandering Willows include: And if you think it sounds strange from just our description alone, you don't know the half of it. Wandering Willows is a 2009 simulation/RPG released by Play First. Whether the people of the island will be more of a help than a hinderance remains to be seen! So you set off on your quest to fix your balloon. The villagers agree to help you, if a bit skeptically. But you're a bit more Hot-Blooded than that, and you're determined to find your way home. They've all decided they're perfectly OK with living on the island it isn't as if it isn't hospitable, after all. And they all have an unusual backstory: All of them came to the island in some type of crash or other disaster. The good news is, the island is inhabited! In fact, it has houses and shops-it's more of a tiny wayward village than anything else. The bad news is, your hot air balloon is completely wrecked. You steer yourself to a crash landing on a nearby island. But a storm picks up, and while you navigate it bravely, a wayward seagull collides with your balloon. An Adventurer Is You, and you and your trusty hot air balloon are soaring high above the waves. It's a beautiful day above the big blue sea. Just before finishing, turn down the heat and add several cups of Lost. Dice up the Animal Crossing and add it to the pot. Start with a big, bubbling pot of Harvest Moon. Windows 8 and later (Windows 11 supported) (64-bit only). HOTSWITCH allows for instant switching between two sets of parameters within one preset. The RIBBON allows for real-time modification of several parameters at once. FREEZE holds the current state of the reverb in a smeared texture. Low, Mid, and High cross-over network determines which frequencies are fed back. FEEDBACK determines how much delayed signal is fed back into the input of the reverb. Delay pitched signals up to one second or sync them to your DAW's tempo. Four octaves of pitch shifting (from two octaves down to two octaves up). MicroPitch tuning available around perfect intervals. Easily pitch with perfect fourths, fifths, and octaves. Unique reverb plug-in with parallel pitch-shifters on the reverb tail. #HOTSWITCH PRODUCTIONS FULL# Finally, the FREEZE button allows you to make smeared textures out of single voices, full pads, or percussive elements resulting in metallic 'shimmers.' Features Use this for changing octaves, turning off/on the pitch shifters, or simply turning the Mix up or down while crafting your performance. ShimmerVerb also boasts a HOTSWITCH for calling up another state of parameters inside the same preset. Ribbon mappings are great for Feedback swells, moving the Pitch knobs, or changing the Size for a massive detuning result. Desktop users can plug in a MIDI keyboard and gain tactile command over this function via the modulation wheel. THE RIBBON is an easy to program performance macro allowing users to morph between two settings with one control. ShimmerVerb shines via its playable, performance-based parameters. Feedback can be further fine-tuned by specifying which frequencies are fed back through the low/mid/high cross-over network. In typical Eventide fashion, features have been added such as the ability to infinitely feedback the signal, resulting in cascading reverbs that smear into oblivion. Now, this iconic sound has been refined and extended with a modern, unified interface that is great for adding dreamy ambiance to guitars, keys, synths, samples, and vocals. This production technique was popularized by Daniel Lanois and Brian Eno on U2's The Unforgettable Fire. ShimmerVerb combines a massively lustrous reverb with parallel pitch shifters to add ethereal layers making any signal, well, 'shimmer.' Oftentimes, producers would achieve the effect by using Eventide pitch-shifting hardware such as the H910, H949, or H3000 or other rack mount units in combination with a reverb.
